Pete has been working in lifelong learning for over 20 years, mainly in museums and galleries, interpreting science, art, history and human cultures with a wide range of audiences through programmes, exhibition making and gallery development. Successful museum learning blends curatorial knowledge and expertise with public engagement and Pete’s goal has always been to create a collaborative and reflective culture.

Capabilities

Creating and sustaining relationships with strategic collaborators, developing outreach partnerships, advocacy, teamwork with curatorial, exhibitions and marketing specialists, writing interpretive materials and resources, leading formal and informal learning programmes, creating novel ways of interpreting museum and gallery collections, developing evaluation systems, strategic and operational plans, workforce management and development, finance and fundraising.
